Our young client recently took a huge stride forward in his journey towards independence. Only two years ago he was relying on taxis to transport him to school and back. Just look at him now!
There have been a few hurdles to overcome along the way. Not least his considerable anxiety at the thought of taking his cycling proficiency test. However, his drive to achieve his goal of cycling to school eventually took over his fear. And on test day he made us all ultra-proud by passing first time.
So here he is now with his OT Assistant doing a dummy run of the journey to school and back. All going well he should be ready to cycle to school independently in time for the start of next term. Great job!!
